  Place has gone to pieces since the last time I went to get a replacement tyre. Paid for a new tyre but found it was not aligned properly. After I went back to have it looked at the owner angrily refused to help without a further fee. I had it looked at by another service place who then informed me that the tyre was in fact a cleaned up used tyre. Avoid this place and its angry owner at all costs - if it weren't over the cost of tyre I would also be reporting this place for fraud.

  STAY AWAY. I had two tyres replaced here, within a few months I noticed the nuts had been falling off the wheels, luckily I saw it before they had all fallen off and possibly caused an accident while I was driving. When I called back they completely refused to help at all and denied any responsibility. I definitely would never recommend this company to anyone if they can't even put the wheels on properly.

  I recently bought 2 used tyres from Inter Colonial Tyres in Marrickville. Each tyre cost $35. One of the tyres had a significant hole on the inner tread close to the sidewall. I return to the place of purchase the same day and have it changed. A week later, I discover that the tyre that was replaced has a slow leak. Couldn't be bothered going back, so I buy a tyre repair kit and plug the leak. On closer inspection, the tyre is full of shrapnel. Next up, I notice steering wobble when driving. The other tyre has not been balanced properly. I take the tyre to another place to be balanced. Next, I discover that the patched tyre hasn't been balanced (process of elimination by substituting spare to isolate issues). And, to top it all off, this morning I discovered a gouge in the sidewall of patched tyre.
  
  I just should have spent the $70 each for new tyres and not have been such a tightwad. Well, you live and learn. And tell everyone on Google. I rated this place 2 stars cause 1 star qualifies as "I hated it" which goes a bit too far. Maybe 1 and a half stars.

  I have bought tyres from those guys for a 2nd time and it has been pleasure to deal with. Prices are low, staff is helpful and so far experience was very good. Thank you so much Inter Colonial Tyre Service !
